Dr. Dre’s Son Laid To Rest

While other people were out grilling on Labor Day Weekend, Dr. Dre was experiencing one of the hardest moments in his life, laying his son Andre Young Jr to rest. According to TMZ, over 200 mourners turned out this past Friday for the funeral.

The funeral was held at The Church of the Recessional in Glendale, California. Andre Young Jr. was found dead in his room last week by his mother at around 10am. His mother quickly dialed 911, but he was pronounced dead on the scene. Coroners have not yet released results because they are said to take up to 8 weeks.

Dr. Dre’s Publicist Lori Earl released this statement last week, “Dr. Dre is mourning the loss of his son Andre Young Jr.”

 Andre Young Jr. was 20 years old.
